In Iron Man 2, Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, needs to design a giant particle accelerator to power the reactor in his chest that pumps his heart. Mark Wise, a theoretical physicist from the California institute of technology, served as a technical consultant for the film and assisted in designing the particle accelerator in Iron Man 2.
Mickey Rourke will be starring as Whiplash, one of the main antagonists of the film.
Scarlett Johansson, who was in films such as the The Prestige and The Black Dahlia, will be playing the part of the Black Widow.
Mary Zophres, who ranked #39 on EW’s The 50 smartest people in Hollywood and designed the costumes for films such as “Catch Me If You Can” and “Burn After Reading” also designed the costumes for Iron Man 2.
