Angry Birds Costumes
It’s offical, the hottest costumes for the entire Halloween family — Angry Birds Halloween costumes! We thought at least He-Man, She-Ra and Skeletor cosutmes would have made the Top 10 list of 2011 Halloween costumes.
According to Yahoo!, Angry Birds costumes might this year’s Halloween 2011 hit – “Over the past 24 hours, Web searches on “angry birds costume” jumped 26%, while related queries on “angry birds halloween costume” and “angry birds costume for sale” tweeted their way to triple-digit gains.”

Alice, trapped in Wonderland
Alice In Wonderland is unique among Disney animated films in that it is based on three different books: Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, Charles Dodgson’s Through The Looking Glass, and Timothy Leary’s, Your Brain Is God. Scenes, ideas, and philosophies from the three books are intermixed throughout the film, making it quite the mind trip.
Great Group costume idea; and this one would definitely go in out Top 10..
OR you could even make it a Halloween group date to remember, pair up the Evil Mad Hatter with Queen of Hearts, and Alice of Wonderland with the good ol’ Cheshire Cat. Meeeooow!

To Smurf or not to Smurf this Halloween
It all started on October 23, 1958 in Belgian. How did it all begin? Well, the original term schtroumpf and the accompanying language came during a meal Peyo was having with his colleague and friend André Franquin in which, having momentarily forgotten the word “salt” Peyo asked him in French to pass the schtroumpf. Franquin replied: “Here’s the Schtroumpf — when you are done schtroumpfing, schtroumpf it back” and the two spent the rest of that weekend speaking in schtroumpf language. The name was later translated into Dutch as Smurf, which was adopted in English.
And to top it all off, come Summer of 2011, the new Smurfs movie will be premiering!

Trick or Treat! It’s the Peanuts Gang!
Remember Linus? What about the rest of the Peanuts gang? In the beginning, there were only three characters in Charles M. Schulz’s first Peanuts comic strip- Charlie Brown, Shermy and Patty (not Peppermint Patty, she’d be “born” much later.) Charlie Brown’s dog Snoopy was also part of the original gang, but wasn’t included in the first comic strip. the one comic where parents and adults only showed their faces, voices, and hands.

Iron Man 2 Costumes Coming Soon!
Iron Man 2 was released in movie theaters this Friday. Very exciting! Check out the awesome Iron Man 2 trailer:

Here are some interesting facts about the Iron Man 2 movie:
- Opening Date for Iron Man 2 is May 7, 2010
- Iron Man 2 has an estimated budget of $200 million.
- The original Iron Man movie had a budget of $140 million. It opened to $102 million over the May 2-4, 2008 weekend, and wound up generating over $570 million globally.
- In Iron Man 2, Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, needs to design a giant particle accelerator to power the reactor in his chest that pumps his heart. Mark Wise, a theoretical physicist from the California institute of technology, served as a technical consultant for the film and assisted in designing the particle accelerator in Iron Man 2.
- Mickey Rourke will be starring as Whiplash, one of the main antagonists of the film.
- Scarlett Johansson, who was in films such as the The Prestige and The Black Dahlia, will be playing the part of the Black Widow.
- Mary Zophres, who ranked #39 on EW’s The 50 smartest people in Hollywood and designed the costumes for films such as “Catch Me If You Can” and “Burn After Reading” also designed the costumes for Iron Man 2.

The new Avatar costumes are just around the corner!
James Cameron’s Avatar was released in theaters in December of last year. Mycheapcostume.com (mycheapcostume.com)will be the first to bring to you the new Avatar costumes cheap and in bulk. - James Cameron, the director of the classic sci-fi film Aliens and the blockbuster hit Titanic, had the idea for Avatar since 1994 but chose not to start production of the film until film technology had caught up to the film’s vision.
- The film incorporated 60% computer generated imagery and 40% live action sequences. According to James Cameron, the ideal situation would be for audience not to know which form they were looking at.
- Deborah Lynn Scott was the chief costume designer for Avatar and won the Excellence in Fantasy Costume Design award at the Costume Designer’s Guild Awards.
